Senior Delivery Consultant with Liatrio working on a large DevOps transformation project at Kaiser Permanente to uplift their managed internal web services development and delivery process to increase the speed of product delivery. Sr. Manager responsible for the design and implementation of a new pipeline. Goal: To fix a broken team of 100+ engineers that currently take six months to deploy a change down to two weeks and eventually daily builds and deployments. Successfully on-boarded 40+ Java Services onto the new pipeline and uplifted a team of engineers to support and continue development and features.

Fantasy Sports Game

Successfully rebooted and relaunched a Fantasy Baseball Sports Game for the 2016 season converting a customer base of over 3,000 into paying customers. The software is a sports game that tracks homeruns with the ability to create leagues of teams and a personalized experience for each team owner. Features include an advanced, real-time drafting tools, game dashboards and up-to-the-minute updates when homeruns are hit all using React & Websockets.

Festival Manager Solution

Vendini's Logistic Manager is software built to manage all aspects of a festival. It includes logistics from booking artists, managing guests & volunteers and onsite operations including check-in and credential issuance. UE took a fresh approach to the project and in four months had an entirely new platform built that focused on features non-existent in the current application. This new administrative solution enables event organizers to map Access Control permissions, upload RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) wristbands, an entire rich suite of Box Office tools to search & check-in patrons by assigning them RFID wristbands or Numbered passes, Voucher system for one-time passes & a rich fulfillment system that integrates to ship & manage the whole process.
Marc successfully launched the project ahead of the scheduled timeline with a team of consultants. It powered a 30,000 person festival on launch with an interactive dashboard of reports detailing the entry of participants and exceeded the expectations of the client.

DevOps Continuous Integration Solution

Designed, Architected & Developed an automated DevOps environment for Vendini's technology division. The new system included localized VM on each developer's MAC, running all applications with testing scripts. Included was a detailed process utilizing git branches that automatically build testing environments in Amazon's AWS via Codeship. This enables the quality control division to test specific enhancements or bugs independently in an insolated environment using Docker containers and web ports.

Marc Urbaitel worked on a premier project as a consultant with ZDCA Design & Development and Sun Edison, a leader in Solar Panel installations worldwide. The project, was to build a new interface to report on clients' solar panel usage. Features included a full administration suite of reporting tools with diagnostics and pin-point meter readings. Marc personally worked on the Solar Savings suite of reports that helped clients and technicians maximize their savings and usage.
